After Configuring your system we are now ready to use the POS. The P.O.S (Point of Sales) reefers to the program that is used to record customer sales at the store. The POS can be used from many stations and has 4 Basic forms;
Any of the above can be combined in a single POS screen. The following sections describe each of these types in detail.
- Dine: Used to record Table Service orders.
- Takeout: Used to record Counter Service orders.
- Delivery: Used to record orders destined for delivery to another location.
- Retail: Used to record retail sales.
Note: The Dine section details all of the features of the POS. The others only describe the changes that are introduced for their respective purposes.
