Before we can use the Delivery Lookup feature of the POS we must define various conventions for naming Municipalities, Street Types, Directions and Unit Types. The ID Field, ADD, EDIT DELETE SAVE and CANCEL buttons are common to all 4 types., These button function as described in previous sections.

Add: Used to add a new Municipality. Press the "Add" button and enter a 2 digit ID#.  Enter or Select options from the following fields;

• Description: Used to record the name of the Municipality.
• Prov: Indicates the province or state the municipality is located in.
• Status: Whether the Municipality is active for the POS.

Street Types

Add: Used to add a new Street Type. Press the "Add" button and enter a 6 digit ID#.  Enter or Select options from the following fields;

• Description: Used to describe the street type.
• Status: Whether the Street type is active for the POS.

Add: Used to add a new Direction Type. Press the "Add" button and enter a 2 digit ID#.  Enter or Select options from the following fields;

• Description: Used to describe the Direction type.
• Status: Whether the Direction type is active for the POS.

Unit Type

Add: Used to add a new Direction Type. Press the "Add" button and enter a 2 digit ID#.  Enter or Select options from the following fields;

• Description: Used to describe the Unit type.
• Status: Whether the Unit type is active for the POS.

The following options are common to all types.

Save: Used to record your changes from an "Add" or Edit" mode.

Edit: Used to change  information. Select an item from the  list and press "Edit". Change the information as required and press Save to record your changes.

Delete: Used to remove a type from the list. Select a type from the list and press "Delete". You will be prompted to confirm your choice.

Cancel: Used to deselect a type from the list or to exit  "Add" or "Edit" mode without recording any changes.
